Since Friday, it's the Easter weekend in Amsterdam. I don't think there is holiday for the Americans; not to mention, the Easter celebration probably doesn't even exist for most Asians ( except the Christians/Catholics, of course). For German,  I think it is quite an important holiday.

Last night, we had dinner with our dear friends. The host, an amazing mother, prepared some eggs for the little ones to paint. Though the kids do the 'egg-hunting' part, like traditionally what kids will do on Easter,  it still created some nice atmosphere for Easter.

This morning, Frank hided some colorful, painted eggs to allow Naomi, who just woke up and still in her pajama, to 'experience' some egg-hunting fun. Though it is not like what we would do if we still live in Germany with Oma Marlies, Naomi still had lots of fun.

I guess, it is the simplified, city version of Easter celebration.
Wish you a Happy Easter weekend!

Here is how we spent our Easter in 2009, in Barcelona!

    1. 'professional'?! no..I wouldn't call that 'professional' Easter fun...but hey, it's good that Naomi has parents from both sides of the world!! so the German papa can organize some Easter fun while the Taiwan mama can do some Chinese New Year 'red-envelope' or 'firecracker' stuff....double the fun!! : )
